Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to provide consultation and technical advice on Technology infrastructure planning and engineering for assigned systems. This includes responsibility for translating business requirements and functional specifications into technical requirements and delivering integrated and sustainable designs for designated infrastructure systems.
This role supports multiple, somewhat complex projects across areas simultaneously, often leading one or more projects independently. This includes collaboration with cross-functional partners as well as senior leadership.
This role is expected to support multiple platforms within Data Center Services (e.g., network, storage, platform, database, middleware, mainframe, Infrastructure/Hardware/Red Fish Automation).
With a focus specifically on Data Center Services, this role is responsible for the full life cycle support of server, node, network, storage, and/or appliance (specialty use) hardware. Creating/Updating designs, plans, and processes for testing, certifying, deploying, integrating, maintaining, and decommissioning hardware infrastructure. This role will also be responsible for evaluating, testing, certifying, and implementing firmware and new technologies. This role will also assist with the continuous development & support of manual & automated processes, APIs, and runbooks needed to maximize efficiency and accuracy of these activities.
Estimates resource requirements for technical design and testing efforts, develops system support plans, schedules, and assignments, and manages project components and schedules while mitigating project risks as appropriate
Leads the implementation and maintenance of assigned enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure successful deployment and operation; develops and documents detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures) for the introduction and maintenance of services
Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb (ladders, stairs), balance, and/or crouch on a daily basis to accomplish work activities.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions.

Pay Range: $92,300.00 - $175,400.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
