Key Responsibilities:
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a TS SCI SI/TK clearance
- Analyzing user stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility Understand and follow test plans and test procedures
- Independently setup test environments and network configurations
- Write and execute manual test cases
- Map test cases to requirements for traceability
- Perform all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Provide detailed documentation and evidence of test results
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product life-cycle
Work Environment:
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO – Hybrid or Onsite
- Travel Requirements: Minimal
- Working Hours: Flexible
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of SW Test experience.
- Experience in documenting requirements and specifications
- Proficiency in engineering tools: Primarily Azure Devops
- Experience with Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes for containerization, cloud services, and orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, AWS S3, and developing RESTful APIs using Django and Flask frameworks
- Strong passion for conducting research, tackling complex problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
- Proficient in using GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
- Experienced in implementing Agile Software Development methodologies for efficient and iterative project management
- Passion for conducting research, tackling complex problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
Desired:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work independently to research and solve customer pain points
- High level of curiosity and investigative mindset with an attention to detail, a tenacity of thought, the flexibility to adapt to new challenges, and the resiliency to overcome short-term hurdles by staying focused on the team's deliverables
Basic Compensation: $90,000 - $135,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
