Job Description
- Present and write daily Entertainment information on air both to the Los Angeles market as well as other Telemundo markets
- Integrate sales and product placement presentations and segments within the show and host other promotional spots as assigned
- Report entertainment stories (in house and in the field), gathering information and preparing for presentation in the show
- Articulate viewpoints and personal experiences in a manner that helps the audience feel a personal connection to the content.
- Participate in community events and station activities from time to time as master of ceremonies and/or Host as requested by the station
- Conduct studio/street/ telephone or Zoom interviews with guests and listeners
- Collaborate with producers, co-hosts, and associate producers to generate interesting show topics that will create lively dialogue that engages the interests of the audience
- Introduce contests and promotions
- Promote the show, the station and the company positively on and off the air to maximize the growth of the audience
- Function as emcees (locally, nationally and internationally) for onboard events and venues
- Make promotional appearances and travel for remote broadcasts and/or promotional events
- Work with Creative Services to create and optimize the content for Acceso Total across all Telemundo 52 Los Angeles social media platforms, and future platforms.
- Present special programs for Los Angeles and other Telemundo markets.
- Meeting with program directors/producers to discuss programs/shows
- Write shows, packages and stories.
- Participate in special programming, fundraising programs and events.
- Collaborate in the promotion of show, events etc. in newscasts for Los Angeles and other markets
- Create, share and promote content for social media and streaming platforms
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-year experience working on commercials and product placement.
- Minimum 5-year experience on-air
- Proven ability to ad-lib and improvise effortlessly in various types of on air situations and ability to handle working under the pressure of intense deadlines
- Experience presenting and communicating on different media platforms, including but not limited to television, digital, radio, and social media

- Must be flexible pertaining to required wardrobe and on air clothing during different seasons of the year and special occasions (Halloween, Summer, etc)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively with others in a team oriented environment
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment

Additional Requirements:
- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000
