Job Summary:
As a Logistics Distribution Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our distribution operations by coordinating the movement and flow of goods within our logistics network. This specialist role, ideal for candidates with some foundational experience in logistics or distribution, will help ensure efficient and accurate delivery services while supporting inventory and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and accurately record customer-owned materials upon arrival.
• Pick and pack materials according to customer orders, ensuring precision and timeliness.
• Maintain organized inventory of customer-owned materials within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient material handling and timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and any potential issues.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Other Skills/Experience Desired:
• Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and distribution best practices.
• Experience handling customer-owned materials in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
