Commercial Projects Manager
Baltimore, MD
Capital Electric has a Commercial Projects Manager position available at our Baltimore location. The person in this role is responsible for managing and supporting the Commercial Projects team, developing the team’s skills necessary to be successful, and maintaining a sound relationship with customers and vendors to ensure the integrity and profitability at Capital Electric.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 / annually + bonus incentive.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise sales team to insure good customer service and long-term customer development
- Work with sales team to ensure quotations are handled in a timely fashion
- Motivate and mentor sales associates and develop sales team
- Ability to travel to and manage remote employees
- Plan, budget, and monitor all areas of Commercial Project sales
- Develop and maintain vendor/customer relationships, regular joint sales calls
- Promote courtesy, politeness, and a positive attitude with customers and employees
- Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
- Ability to manage vendor/customer conflict
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years electrical distribution industry with experience leading multimillion dollars in sales
- 3-5 years Commercial Projects experience – electrical distribution industry preferred
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Proven leadership and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Above average proficiency in M/S – Excel, Word, PPT
- Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
