Sr. Manager, Business Development (Based in Singapore/Korea/Japan/ASEAN)
Job Description:
Responsible for business development and sales in the APAC region.
Conduct financial feasibility studies, market research, competitor analysis, and planning to define, identify, and implement market entry strategies.
Develop and identify project pipelines and evaluate specific business opportunities.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify, build, and manage long-term business relationships with strategic partners in the Oil and Gas and Energy sectors.
Maintain and improve relationships with existing customers and build relationships with prospective customers.
Participate in meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities.
Conduct market opportunity assessments to find leads and drive a continuous pipeline of sales.
Execute effective sales pitches with timely adaptation of strategies as required.
Collaborate and liaise with the Engineering Department and/or Consulting Department regarding all aspects of proposal work.
Supervise the proposal process for pursuits and ensure that win strategies are incorporated into the proposals.
Manage and support the preparation of qualifications, questionnaires, presentations, tenders, quotations, and other pertinent data to support business development.
Cooperate with the Legal Department and Risk Management Department.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering with at least 10-15 years of industry experience, preferably within the Offshore Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
Preferably 7-10 years of work experience related to Business Development.
Experience with industry EPC projects is an added advantage.
Project Management experience is a plus.
Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements.
Client-focused, solution-oriented with effective problem-solving skills aimed at building and maintaining relationships.
A strategic and analytical thinker who can influence decisions in a competitive landscape across multicultural environments.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to accommodate business travel.
