We are looking for someone with 2 to 5 years experience developing data analytics and data engineering solutions as well as demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.

We are a cross-functional organization with employees who have expertise in data, technology, support and operations. Location
We are willing to consider candidates who are able to work out of our LaVista office near Omaha, NE OR out of our regional office located in Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities
- Deliver data engineering solutions that are efficient and scalable and meet the needs of our various stake holders.
- Lead, mentor and develop a highly talented technical team of analysts, consultants, and data engineers.
- Design and develop using Python, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Snowflake
- Act as an internal consultant, point of contact, and trusted advisor for stakeholders both within KDS and beyond.
- Oversee the specification, development, and implementation of new or redesigned processes, reports, and policies and procedures for internal use. Translate requirements into effective and impactful solutions that enable information sharing across the enterprise.
- Manage code repositories, work with IT to get any new required infrastructure setup. Get a deep understanding of Kiewit’s data platform.
- Ability to take on technical tasks as well as mentor team members.
- Stay current with new technologies and platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience using Python, Informatica, Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Azure platform, Azure Functions and REST api services.
- 2-5 years’ writing ANSI SQL on Microsoft SQL server (both on prem and azure) and Snowflake.
- Strong track record of successfully executing complex projects and/or projects involving multiple disciplines.
- Experience collaborating with senior managers to understand drivers of success and departmental goals.
- Strong customer management skills; ability to manage more than one client.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Proven ability to self-direct work efforts and lead others
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
