Job Summary
Responsible for the performance and monitoring of operational controls for Comcast Business Federal Government contracts. In this role, the Analyst will partner with various groups in the organization including sales, legal, compliance and billing to ensure all operational aspects of Federal Government requirements are met through the customer sales, order and billing journey.

Core Responsibilities
Candidates who have completed a HSPD12 background check with the GSA preferred. Prior experience with federal government contracting and/or federal government invoicing payment process preferred.
- Conducts all bill run related activities within the federal government billing system
- Performs detailed reconciliations of federal government contracts to billing and order management systems
- Conducts monthly billing data transfers between Comcast and federal government billing and invoicing systems
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of documentation to support contract compliance, including process flows, playbooks, and internal control documentation
- Identifies and elevates process and control gaps to management, proposing cohesive solutions to mitigate risk and promote contract compliance
- Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting to support Comcast regulatory affairs, government affairs and compliance requests
- Assists in preparing supporting schedules, assembling supporting documentation and processing ad-hoc requests associated with internal and external audits or assessments, including from the state and federal government
- Aligns work with Supervisor and Director of Billing Operations
- Approves transactions, evaluates opportunities and makes recommendations regarding project progress and future business opportunities.
- Analyzes and tracks key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.
- Performs analysis of financial statement accounts and specific projects, as directed.
- Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
- Participates with the preparation of month and year-end processes by reviewing actual vs. budget/forecast variances, reviewing financial trends and making recommendations for accruals.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
