As an Associate Analyst I, you’ll partner with IT directors and managers to drive insightful financial and operational control of the business. You’ll leverage your strong technology and financial management background
to provide high-quality financial information and projections that align our technological investments with NFI’s strategic vision.
Responsibilities
- Supports IT Leadership decision-making by researching, analyzing, compiling, and presenting past and present financial results.
- Provides general oversight for financial activities within Information Technology, supporting the coordination and development of IT teams’ financial plans and forecasts.
- Compiles weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports as assigned.
- Researches, understands and clearly articulates variances between actuals and estimates/budget.
- Develops and implements strategy to reduce data gaps, increase data quality, and ensure efficient and effective use of data for financial reporting & analysis.
- In collaboration with the team, establishes and improves IT Finance processes including: business planning, financial tracking, expense tracking, budget management, contract management, and vendor management.
- Leads financial analysis projects as assigned.
- Tracks, manages, and evaluates IT vendors.
- Serves as a liaison between Information Technology and Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are processed and recorded in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree strongly preferred, will consider comparable work experience.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Broad, generalist knowledge of core elements or concepts relevant to the role.
- Focuses on learning existing tools, resources, and processes at NFI.
