Description
Leidos is seeking an Electronics PCBA/Soldering Lab Manager to join a diverse team that supports assembly of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate will manage a team of technicians that perform hand solder surface mount and through-hole components on high density printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Primary Responsibilities
This position will have day to day management responsibilities for Safety, Quality Delivery, Cost and Moral goals of electronics team that works on PCBA soldering and assembly operations. Manager will work directly with Production Control, Project Managers, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers to prioritize work and solve problems that arise during builds. Responsible for 5S in labs and day to day needs of technicians. Responsible for resource planning and selection of interview candidates to meet future growth of business.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a HS diploma/GED with relevant years of experience will be considered.
Applicants must have strong experience working with teams.
Experience leading a team as direct manager or team lead.
Ability to multi-task and meet multiple objectives over similar time periods.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are a plus:
J-STD-001 and IPC-610 soldering certification within the last 5 years.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
