Description
We have an immediate need for a Java Developer with strong backend systems, software, and cloud experience to support a complex program. The developer will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.
The developer will be working with a small team of developers to support and enhance an existing application.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance REST-based microservices using Java, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
- Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit
- Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to manage workload
- Apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate MUST HAVE a TS/SCI Security Clearance
- BS with 4-8 years relevant experience or a Masters with 2-6 years relevant experience.
- Proficient with common Agile practices and service-orientated environments
- Experience in using Java, JavaScript
- Experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit
- Well versed with using version control systems like Gitlab
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Experience with leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS, DynamoDB)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with deploying to AWS via CloudFormation scripts
- Familiar with API Documentation tools like Swagger

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
