Responsible for the day-to-day operation and administrative activities at multiple buildings within the district. Leads Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure conformance to contract requirements. Develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned buildings. Oversees inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned buildings.
Essential Functions:
- Leadership: Lead a diverse team of facilities personnel, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Janitorial Oversight: Manage and oversee janitorial staff and operations, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the campus.
- Grounds Oversight: Grounds operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective SOW cleaning for the facilities.
- Landscaping Oversight: Oversee the landscaping team to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the campus grounds, including plant care, lawn maintenance, and seasonal decorations.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts within the team or with external stakeholders in a professional and effective manner and meet all KPI expectations.
- Profit & Loss (P&L) Knowledge: Manage the site’s budget and financial operations, including P&L responsibility, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with SpaceX stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for facility management, aligning with all SpaceX objectives and ABM’s standards.
- Safety Management: Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct regular safety trainings, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in janitorial services, pressure washing, and landscaping management.
- Demonstrated ability in managing a multi service site.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of P&L management and financial reporting.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strategic planning capabilities with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety management and compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certifications in facilities management, safety, or related areas are advantageous.
