Position Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and manage best practices for janitorial services, work order processing, and facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with ABM policies, safety standards, and quality management.
· Oversee day-to-day janitorial operations, ensuring facilities are maintained at a high standard. Implement training and skill development programs for janitorial and maintenance staff to improve efficiency and service quality.
· Foster strong relationships with clients, ranging from property management to senior executives, ensuring consistent service delivery across all janitorial and facility operations.
· Play a key role in budget preparation for janitorial services and facility management, focusing on cost control, financial planning, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
· Manage financial tracking related to janitorial supplies, maintenance, and vendor services, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, expense reporting, and budget adherence.
· Provide oversight on work orders, facility maintenance tasks, and ensure the timely completion of projects. Collaborate with cross-functional vendors to deliver high-quality services within budget constraints.
· Prepare and submit detailed financial and operational reports, including budgets, monthly financial statements, and cost analyses for both janitorial services and facility projects.
· Supervise janitorial and maintenance teams, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to service standards. Ensure flexibility in staffing to accommodate varying needs, including weekends when required.
· Coordinate relationships with external vendors, ensuring service contracts align with budgetary requirements and quality standards are met.
· Assist in developing new business opportunities related to janitorial services, work order management, and facility maintenance, driving growth for ABM.
· Report daily to the ABM Branch Manager and senior leadership on project progress, financial performance, vendor management, and operational enhancements.
· Handle payroll reporting and oversee financial audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in expenses and revenue related to facility services.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in janitorial services, work order management, facility operations, and financial oversight, with proven management experience preferred.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), particularly for financial and budget management.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service, financial management, and teamwork.
· · Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work weekends when required to meet operational needs.
· Ability to manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures within janitorial and facility operations.
Must be open to working a flexible schedule including weekends when needed.
