Global Lean Leader

The Global Lean Leader is responsible for enabling the organization to adopt new lean ways of working through the Catalent Operating System “The Catalent Way”. The Catalent Way is a framework of interlinked simplified and Lean standard processes that bring rigor and discipline into our business to drive sustainable Continuous Improvement – it is the simplified methodology behind how we plan, execute, improve, and sustain world class performance.
The Global Lean Leader role requires facilitation, change management and leadership skills and involves a high level of travel to Catalent’s manufacturing sites globally. The Global Lean Leader is hands on and includes training, coaching and mentoring and enabling our manufacturing sites to address specific issues and improvement targets through the application of lean six sigma tools and techniques.
Windsor, Ontario is one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions.

The Role:
Work in conjunction with the sites to enable them to deliver improvement in our People, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery metrics
Participate in, facilitate or lead workshops to enable adoption of The Catalent Way
Perform deep dives, specific analysis, maturity assessments to support the improvement program
Support new site integrations into The Catalent Way
Work as part of an expert team or alone deploying the Catalent Operating model across our network of sites through a workshop, capability building and enabling approach
With a focus on the lean six sigma tool, techniques and methods enable sites to learn, improve and resolve issues in a sustainable way
Write clear, concise and accurate reports to a high standard
70% travel expectations (global)
Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Scientific, Engineering, or Business, required
Black Belt Certified and / or significant lean training, required
10 years minimum, related work experience
Pharmaceutical or Regulated industry experience, highly preferred
Extensive experience in the application of lean six sigma tools
Knowledge of DMAIC, PDC/SA, lean tools and project management methods
Experience in pharmaceuticals and / or other highly regulated environment
Work domestically and internationally and at times work outside of the core hours to support others working in other geographical time zones
Currently Catalent does not participate in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
Candidates with non-Canadian credentials must provide an evaluation confirming the Canadian equivalency of the credentials as determined by the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC) such as WES
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
