Description:We are Lockheed MartinLockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Stress Analysis Engineer for the F-35 Lightning II program in Fort Worth, Texas. A successful candidate will use their technical experience to develop innovative solutions to highly complex technical problems. Responsibilities for this position may include:
- Support Production and Sustainment Material Review Board (MRB) repairs to ensure discrepant parts or assemblies meet required strength standards.
- Perform stress analysis on composite and metallic materials, including sizing of detail parts and assessing the strength of primary and secondary aircraft structures and systems.
- Certify new and existing designs by performing strength analysis, releasing drawings, and preparing analysis reports.
- Evaluate and compare structural efficiency and weight for different structural arrangements and concepts through analysis and trade studies.
- Provide input for structural tests, including test requirements, loads, and predicted results.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering
- 5 years experience with Bachelors, or 3 years with Masters
- Experience with structural analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure
- Experience with composite and metallic analysis
Desired Skills:- Experience with free-body diagrams, classical hand calculations, Finite Element Modeling and Analysis including pre- and post-processing
- Experience using Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and additional programing languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
