We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Production Technician Welder to join us in our Lehigh Valley facility.
GARDNER CRYOGENICS is a division of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD). Our facilities manufacture cryogenic Helium and Hydrogen equipment to support industrial gas businesses. Including pressure vessels, piping systems, sub-assemblies and supporting components. We manufacture transportable and stationary equipment, all of which done by our skilled work force.

Required Skills / Abilities:
Key Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of GTAW, GMAW.
Welding, fabrication drawings, blueprints
AWS weld symbols, and welding procedures.
Setting up welding equipment for safe and efficient use, and the ability to weld stainless and carbon steel in various positions and degrees of difficulty.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Ability to pass qualification tests in accordance with ASME Section IX and qualified WPS.
Availability to work the afternoon shift from 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
Experience in the following are “preferred but not required”:
Plasma Cutter, Shear, overhead cranes, forklifts.
Shop mathematics and blueprints.
Welding, fitting, and cutting skills.
