Page Program Overview:
The NBCUniversal Page Program is the premiere rotational program that gives early career talent a well-rounded experience along with unmatched exposure to the media industry. Pages are based out of New York, NY (the East Coast Page Program) and Universal City, CA (the West Coast Page Program). NBCU Pages get the opportunity to contribute to big, new ideas and trailblaze the future of our company and industry through three robust 18-week assignment experiences and a job placement period.
The Page Program is part of the broader NBCUniversal Early Careers team, which also supports the NBCU Internship Program. The Page Program operates 3 cycles per year, so most of the below responsibilities will happen with that same frequency. About the Role:
It is an exciting time to join NBCUniversal and we have a unique opportunity for candidates interested in supporting the company’s premier early career rotational development experience. In this Coordinator role supporting the West Coast Page Program, you will contribute to many aspects of the Page Program, from helping Pages start their year off successfully to ensuring they feel supported throughout their experience. In this role you can play a pivotal role in developing the future leaders of NBCU. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal and administrative skills, a high degree of professional maturity, and have a passion for supporting early career talent. Additionally, this individual must be motivated by working in a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment while serving as role model and ambassador of the Page Program and NBCUniversal.
This role is Staff with End Date and will end after 1 year.
Responsibilities:
Page Lifecycle & HR Systems (National Program Support)
- Provide support throughout all stages of Page recruitment 3x per year, including organizing and reviewing applications, candidate communication, system status updates, and scheduling/facilitating/assessing virtual panel interviews
- Facilitate new hire HR processes for all Pages nationally including completing I-9 verifications and collecting new hire paperwork
- Execute all HR transactions in SAP to support the Page lifecycle, from onboarding through placement or termination:
- Onboard Pages in SAP, assist with direct deposit, and process special payments
- Complete termination transactions in SAP for exiting Pages
- Maintain accurate reports and other employee data
- Execute internal billing process for West Coast Page Program and support East Coast process as needed; requires knowledge of basic Excel functions (e.g. sum formulas, v-lookup functions, etc.)
- Support transition process for Pages post-Program including maintaining accurate records of Page conversions and exits
- Serve as primary contact for Pages for TimeKeeper (time-tracking software) to ensure accurate facilitation of payroll and compliant time keeping by the Pages
- Serve as expert of and contact for all Page Program policies, including paid time off policy – keep Page handbook accurate and updated
- Work with Manager to process and reconcile all program invoices and expenses
- Obtain necessary approvals and escalate HR issues and questions to Manager and greater Page Program Team
West Coast Page Program Support
- Work with Manager, team, and other partners to handle logistics (scheduling, room reservation, catering, communications, etc.) for all Page learning & development experiences, including regularly scheduled labs, onboarding, and other trainings
- Support Page Program Onboarding 3x per year, running point on all event planning and on-site logistics
- Support WC assignment placement process and manage Page communications
- Manage event/coverage requests and communicate with business partners to provide and confirm Page services
- Provide respectful and empathetic support to Pages at all stages of the program
- Manage distribution, organization, and maintenance of Page uniforms, including coordinating dry cleaning and fittings, managing uniform inventory, and ordering new uniforms as needed
- Manage and maintain the Page Office (office supplies, Facility needs, etc.) and inventory of technology assets, Page Program-branded supplies and materials
- Other administrative support for Early Careers team
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field required
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel (including internships)
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed
- Previous HR and/or recruiting experience preferred

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
