Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. As the Administrative Support Specialist to Senior Leadership within the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, you will be a team member who performs a variety of administrative duties and other task while exercising tact, initiative, diplomacy, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement.
In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities:
• Manage meetings which includes scheduling, reserving conference rooms, capturing attendance, reviewing agenda accuracy, verifying chart inputs, and documenting minutes.
• Maintain calendars.
• Make travel arrangements and reconcile expense reports.
• Coordinate VIP visits and off-sites.
• Ensure all correspondences are accurate and properly handled.
• Compile presentations and update organizational charts.
• Order and manage office supplies within budget.
• Provide administrative review of documents.
• Prioritize non-routine situations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ensure timely and organized disposition of sensitive materials.
• Operate and set up SharePoint sites.
• Maintain positive office environment.
• Perform other general office duties as required.
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL , and be expected to work in the office.Basic Qualifications:To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: • 2+ years of previous Administrative Assistant experiences.
• Previous experience running Video Teleconference.
• Microsoft application skills to include PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and Excel.
• Prior professional experience creating executive-level correspondence.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and
be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
