Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is looking to hire a Quality Inspector Senior to support our Chelmsford, MA site.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products for conformance to established work instruction, industry standards, drawings, etc., using low / high power microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held inspection tools.
In addition, you will also be expected to enter inspection results into QMS and MRP systems, while also partnering with engineering to report and detail non-conformances.

Chelmsford, a charming suburb located about 25 miles northwest of Boston, offers easy access to historic Lowell, Nashua, and the scenic coastal towns of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This picturesque colonial area boasts New England charm, excellent schools, shopping, and dining. With a rich history dating back to the Pilgrims and the Revolutionary War, Chelmsford is ideally positioned for outdoor adventures, including the White Mountains and ski resorts to the north, and Cape Cod, 90 minutes away. Boston is a quick 30-minute drive (traffic permitting), while New York City is about 4.5 hours away.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance prior to start.
The shift for this position is: Second shift. Hours for Second shift are typically 2:30pm to 1am.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
