Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to provide cloud engineering support across multiple projects under TENCAP HOPE
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure systems on Azure and AWS, spanning both Unclassified and Classified environments
- Implement Networking, Databases, Storage, Compute, and Container deployments (K8s, ECS), among other cloud technologies
- Work with IA (Information Assurance) to standardize policies and compliance metrics for monitoring cloud environment operations, issuing corrective actions, and reporting
- Establish and apply Zero Trust Architecture standards for the build and sustainment of cloud systems

Qualifications:
Required:
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
- 4+ years of experience in Information Technology or Cloud Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS products and capabilities
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (BICEP/Terraform/OpenTofu/CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of network design principles
- Experience working within development teams
Desired:
- Azure/AWS certifications
- Experience with multiple Infrastructure as Code languages
- Expertise in cloud system design principles covering scalability, fault tolerance, geo-networking, and cost optimization
- Experience with system administration of Red Hat Linux 8+ and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience creating and maintaining enterprise Certification Authority (CA) systems using HashiCorp Vault or equivalent tools
- Familiarity with working in medium to large-sized development teams utilizing Git and DevOps principles
Basic Compensation: $115 – 170k
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
