Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the Revenue Management department which is responsible for performing strategic and financial analysis for Universal Studios Hollywood attendance and product offerings. By providing high-quality, thoughtful insights, the Senior Financial Analyst plays an integral role in supporting the short-term and long-term financial success for Universal Studios Hollywood.
- Support the development of the Annual Budget, Five Year Plan and Quarterly Estimates for admission revenue and attendance
- Provide modeling and analysis of products, channels, pricing, and promotion performance
- Partner with teams across the company to help to execute on key business initiatives (Marketing, Sales, Operations, I.T.)
- Evaluate the success of a variety of strategic initiatives, including Annual Pass performance and trends
- Maintain advanced Excel-based financial and analytical models built for large datasets
- Work with forecasting models and translate data into actionable insights
- Analyze past and current performance to optimize Park operations and cost structure
- Prepare and review weekly reports related to sales volume, product/channel mix, and per cap
- Perform periodic pacing and recognition of deferred revenue related to ticket products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required; majors in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related field is preferred
- 2-5 years of progressive experience within finance

Desired Characteristics:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy knowledge a plus
- Capable of consistently delivering accurate information in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple concurrent assignments
- Strong analytical skills – able to clearly link financial results to performance drivers
- Proactive thinker/self-starter
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide spectrum of customers
- High level of responsibility and a strong desire to produce quality work
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
