Job Description Are you passionate about photogrammetry and national security? BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Photogrammetrist to provide photogrammetry support to a key Intelligence Community (IC) customer. Responsibilities include advanced expertise in Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) processing and analysis, the generation of point clouds from Electro-Optical (EO) imagery, and the co-registration of multi-source datasets to provide a geodetically accurate 30 dataset.As a seasoned photogrammetrist, you will develop processes to assemble multi-source 3D remote reconnaissance packages for geodetic survey missions leveraging existing data and services where possible, refine and automate package production process based on feedback, and supervise junior contractor analyst(s) in remote reconnaissance package production.Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Advanced knowledge of photogrammetry, including LlDAR processing and analysis and EO point cloud generation.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience processing and analyzing LiDAR data or EO point clouds, and documenting precision and error in accordance with existing data standards.
- Experience applying geodetic and photogrammetric principles to co-register multiple data sets to the WGS 84 reference frame and perform statistical analysis to determine the absolute and relative error.
- Experience using QT Modeler, Socet Set, or similar elevation or point cloud processing and analysis software.
- Experience using ESRI ArcGISPro.
- Knowledge of digital data formats such as vector data, raster data, shape files, GML, XML.
- Experience developing project plans with milestones and deliverables, tracking progress, and subsequent status reporting.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - STEM degree
- Geodetic surveying or land surveying experience or coursework.
- Advanced knowledge of geodetic or statistical principles.
- Knowledge of standard geospatial products.
- Familiarity with systems architecture, including unclassified cloud environments
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
