Job Summary:
The Contract System Analyst III is responsible for the development and application of the tools required to execute provider contracting payment modeling.
The experience needed for this role is Power Bi/Data Visualization.
Essential Functions:
- Supports the strategic direction for team
- Proactively collaborates with both Contracting Analytics and Configuration teams to support contracting decisions
- Investigates opportunities for configuration improvements and/or efficiencies
- Identifies issues related to contract pricing and recommends appropriate solutions
- Investigates best practices and tools for facilitating contract analysis
- Manage key vendor relationships in support of the work being completed
- Develop and provide actionable recommendations to leadership relative to all tools and systems utilized
- Ensure all governing body regulations are adhered to at all times for existing and future lines of business
- Identifies similarities between hospital systems and geographies to identify appropriate base data sets when modeling a new provider
- Build and strengthen provider relationships by facilitating quality service
- Ensure integrity of information systems; keep up-to-date knowledge of the technical systems, claims processing initiatives, and CareSource payment policies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Master or other advanced degree in related field is preferred
- Minimum of four (4) years of related experience is required
- Provider contracting or configuration experience is preferred
- Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, SAS, R or other data manipulation software
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with limited guidance
- Ability to effectively report data, analyze facts, and exercise sound business judgment when making recommendations
- Ability to understand complex systems and interdependencies
- Ability to analyze problems, draw conclusions, develop processes and communicate status and results
- Ability to systematically review other’s work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with management as well as external stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism

Compensation Range:
$69,400.00 - $111,000.00
