This role can be based in Mountain View / San Francisco, Bellevue, or New York.

LinkedIn Core AI builds a 360 understanding of all entities in the LinkedIn ecosystem, spanning the world’s professionals, companies, schools, jobs, content, and more. This ensures a single source of truth for all entities, powers nearly every product and experiment at LinkedIn, leads to members and customers getting better access to opportunities, and enables the marketplaces to have better matching (higher quality, coverage and efficiency).
All these are achieved through cutting-edge Generative AI, embeddings, and Large-language models.
In this role, you will help own the strategy and execution for LinkedIn’s foundational AI products. This is a rare opportunity to work on initiatives at the cutting-edge of AI, which benefits every product and team at LinkedIn and over 1 billion members of the global workforce.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision and strategy of LinkedIn’s Core AI products. Interface with other product teams across the company to understand the product ecosystem and prioritize the top product problems that need to be solved by AI technologies.
- Build a roadmap of the technology solutions (either improvements to the existing models or potential new models that could be developed).
- Success evaluation: define ground truth and metrics, drive rigorous testing and evaluation of AI models for accuracy, performance and trustworthiness.
- Communicate the team’s AI solutions to partners/clients/execs to bring significant clarity, and gain adoption customers.
- Work with other PMs, designers and UXR to develop an interaction paradigm for the product that provides training signal back to the model development process.
- Make sure the team is executing to the latest industry standards for responsible model development as it relates to privacy, policy, legal, etc.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience or equivalent role.
- BS/BA Degree in a technology related field OR equivalent experience
- Experience in analytics and AI-driven products.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience
- Experience shipping consumer or enterprise products with AI especially embeddings and large-language models.
- Proven skills to innovate based on deep understanding of emerging AI technologies.
- The desire to drive product development as a senior individual contributor Product Manager - focused on execution of the responsibilities of a PM, rather than managing other PMs.
- Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $201,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
