What you will do:
Work as an integral member of the Supply Chain team in developing strategic pricing decisions, growing margin and profitability, and collaborating with multiple departments around vendor and customer pricing.
- Assembly & Manufacturing Branch Duties:
- Review of vendor pricing specific to customers and vendors in the Assembly & Manufacturing branch
- Review and analysis of Work Order component costing and pricing.
- Impact analysis on vendor price changes. Provide recommendations and strategies around customer impact.
- Managing and maintaining the cost and price change reviews for key customers.
- Direct interaction with vendors around customer specific costs. Primary vendors include, but are not limited to, Rockwell and Hoffman.
- SPA customer opportunity review for the Assembly & Manufacturing Branch
- Rockwell Contract Pricing Review: Review of all Rockwell contract pricing throughout the company specific to Rockwell customers
- Opportunity Review: SPA opportunity review across the company
- Third Party Purchasing Tools: Pricing tool review for third party software (i.e. Remarcable) and customer use
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitor pricing, and vendor costs to inform pricing decisions
- Pricing Models: Develop and maintain pricing models and tracking to optimize pricing strategies specific to customer segments. Use of PowerBI dashboards and models as appropriate.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer behavior and preferences
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and digital, to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives
- Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations to leadership on pricing strategies and tactics
- Perform other job responsibilities, as requested.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of electrical distribution experience; and
- 5 years of vendor cost/pricing experience
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Strong ability to communicate effectively (written or verbal), with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills to successfully respond to urgent situations
- Must be highly organized and process-oriented.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks consistently and on time
- Vendor pricing and rebate understating a must
- Electrical distribution industry experience preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
Salary Range:
This exempt position pays between $75,000.00 – $83,000.00. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
