QA/QC Instrument Engineer
Possesses some supervisory responsibilities. Provides and directs the technical services functions on-site. Resolves job site technical issues encountered during execution of the project. Supervises the project construction planning, cost control and scheduling activities. Provides job site liaison with home office engineering personnel. Provides advice to client on technical matters. Interprets drawings and specifications for job site queries. Supervises job site document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other technical documents. Monitors preparation of, and approve final acceptance of the various contractors? system turnover packages. Assists Engineering, QA/QC, Commissioning/Start-up, & Client in defining the turnover systems. Schedules systems for turnover. Other responsibilities may include training, developing, and appraising subordinates, and supervising inspection and QA/QC activities. Typical requirements include an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of 8-10 years experience.
