The Manager, Supply Chain - Warehouse, reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, has an opportunity to make a significant impact on the way that the Harman’s site operates. The Manager, Supply Chain - Warehouse will lead a shift consisting of Warehouse Materials Control Associates and Materials Services Associates. Responsibilities include: project participation, dashboarding, reporting, and governance. The scope includes all continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain assets, workflow processes and operations. The ability to work efficiently and partner with other functional leads to improve operational performance and compliance will be a success factor for this role.

The role:
- Support Supply Chain projects which are timely and deliver value to the Cell & Gene Therapy business. These are a combination of asset-based and strategic projects related to improve our materials flow and compliance.
- With Supply Chain and other functional department leadership, develop a clear understanding of the needs related to Supply Chain planning/scheduling, technology, material availability, procurement, logistics, operational compliance, and inventory control.
- Assist in developing a site master plan and roadmap for supply chain which establishes the site vision and direction for materials handling and distribution.
- Ensure that all activities follow GMP regulations.
- Ensure that all project work is managed under GMP Change Control where required and that this is incorporated into timelines.
- Ensure proper methodology is used for project delivery and compliance (GMP, GLP, SOX) requirements are met.
The candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required (e.g., operations, business management, supply chain)
- 6+ years professional Supply Chain experience is preferred. Will substitute degree with 10+ years of experience.
- 5+ years warehouse management experience is required.
- Proficient understanding of warehouse management procedures and knowledge of inventory and inventory controls is strongly required.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience, including performance management and people development.
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
- JDE experience is highly desirable.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma or APICS certifications are highly desirable.
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $118,720 - $163,240 plus an annual bonus target. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
