Description:We are searching for an experienced Research Engineer Senior to join our exceptional team. In this role you will support Microelectronics Test & Integration, focused on the development of technologies and products leveraging heterogeneous integration, chiplet technology, and commercial devices. This role involves engagement in every phase of the chiplet development lifecycle, including system and software design, implementation, integration, and hardware in the loop testing. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and Automatic Test Scripts.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues with microelectronic components and systems.
• Manage development of high-performance computing solutions and program milestones.
• Engage Department of Defense offices to shape, bid and capture contract R&D opportunities.
You must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information. You must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in microelectronics circuitry design, architecture or integration technology.
• Experience with requirements-driven hardware design.
• Proficiency in shaping and writing R&D proposals.
• Able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:• Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements, Initial Capability Documents, test, and verification.
• Systems engineering processes, CONOPs, Verification and Validation, and Mission Engineering.
• Plan, write, execute, and report component and system level tests to verify product requirements.
• Create and maintain baseline artifacts for milestone reviews, test reviews, and other formal deliveries.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices.
• Experience with Python and Linux OS, Automation Framework, and MATLAB.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
