About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Administrator to join their Commercial Banking Flood Operations team. This group is part of the greater Commercial Banking Operations team and is a key control in ensuring Wells Fargo is fully assessing Flood Risk and is compliant with the FDPA Policy. Failure to mitigate risk in this portfolio would have significant impacts to the Bank by creating defects that could result in regulatory and policy violations and adverse impact to internal and external customers.
In this role, you will:- Conduct quality control reviews on Commercial loans for Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) and Flood Insurance requirements.
- Ensure that Commercial real estate collateral is correctly identified during all pre-close reviews & Standard Flood Hazard Determinations (SFHDs) are on file when a loan is secured by real estate
- Communicate overall processes & transaction quality, providing feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified deficiencies or issues
- Provide support for other initiatives as needed
- Execute against control framework to ensure rigor of controls as well as servicing activities
- Work collectively with leaders, team members and stakeholders to sets a high standard for regulatory compliance and execution
- Support the development and execution of a risk control framework
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate loans & the ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents
- Ability to successfully execute quality control review activities
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge and understanding of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)
- Knowledge and understanding of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) compliance and process
- Risk and regulatory compliance experience
- Experience with financial services businesses in a regulated environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience managing a pipeline of work from assignment to completion
- Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
