The Robotics and Digital solutions (RAD) group, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Mechatronics Engineering Intern for the Strategic Robotics R&D Team. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA.

As a member of the Strategic Robotics R&D team you will join us on our journey to design and build one of the world's most advanced medical robotic platforms. You will work alongside all engineering functions to make contributions in the system integration, motor characterization, algorithms creation, and more. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and opportunities for growth within the team as we progress towards realizing our vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with joint bring up, motor tuning, sensor testing, documentation for testing.
- Coordinate with different teams and coworkers to accomplish tasks.
- Participate in the clinical assessments of robotic devices in inanimate anatomical models
