Overview
The Manager on Duty (MOD) at ABM Industries is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and coordinate various activities to maintain high standards of service delivery.

RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist in implementing company policies and procedures consistently.
- Direct and train staff to accomplish daily tasks.
- Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage and smooth operations within allowable budgetary constraints.
- Comply with all safety regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
- Complete accident reports and W/C claims to ensure all paperwork is filled out correctly and in a timely manner.
- Apply use of disciplinary guidelines as necessary and appropriate to ensure correction of inappropriate behavior patterns.
- Respond to on- site customer and telephone customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Responsible for safety meetings and facility safety issues concerning employees and customers as part of the Company’s safety program.
- Responsible for the supervision of money collection and overall cash handling and reporting.
- Assists in compiling and updating Procedures Manuals.
- Abide by and ensure adherence to established policies, rules, procedures and regulations of the client as applicable to the parking facilities.
- Interview, hire, and develop a service-oriented team to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain training records and employee maintenance.
- Overall assistance with employee supervision and employee relations.
- Responsible for the maintaining adequate documentation of all issues related to the operation.
- All other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College Degree preferred, experience in lieu of degree. High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to competently direct a workforce.
- Professional Appearance, valid Driver’s License.
- Three plus years supervision experience in an environment similar to TIA.
- Professional communication skills over the phone and email with customers and internal team members.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to use discretion and judgment to make timely decisions.
