The Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a Project Coordinator supporting the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA’s operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA’s mission partners.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for working within a fast paced, Agile project teams to deliver high quality products efficiently and effectively. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are complete on time, within scope, and on budget. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive project success.
Primary Responsibilities:
General Special Projects and Innovations (SP&I) Portfolio Support
- Assist in the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope.
- Support the Portfolio Director and Deputy Program Manager in project operations and communications.
- Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring all relevant parties are involved and informed.
- Assist in resolving project related issues or obstacles in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and follow up on portfolio action items ensuring timely completion and communication of progress.
- Support process improvements, including identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions to streamline project execution.
- Support staffing data calls and/or on-boarding actions and coordination with managers on the overall staffing plan.
- Oversee and manage SP&I project artifacts and organization
Customer Support
- Provide overall support for customer meetings, including initial inputs for charts, action item tracking, and general data calls.
- Coordinate/support logistic arrangements with customers on-site meetings, demos, etc.
Financial Support
- Support project budget management to ensure the project/portfolio remains within financial commitments
- Support EACs data gathering and working with managers to provide any staffing updates.
- Support WAD updates and overall charge number distributions.
- Develop metrics to address staffing needs, actuals, forecasting, etc.
- Work with Program Operations team on new business actions and/or inputs
- Track and provide inputs to overall actions
Project Deliverables
- Assist in coordinating project resources, schedules, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying external dependencies, risks, or delays
- Prepare project documentation, including CDRLs, ROMB, COR/PMR/MOR Charts, 5x15, presentations, reports, and meeting minutes and actions
- Assist/Monitor project tasks are completed in compliance with company and customer policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Internal Program Review Support
- Coordinate and transfer inputs for program reviews (e.g., MOR, QBRs, etc.) and actions item tracking/coordination
- Support portfolio process improvement and audit efforts
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a US Citizenship
- Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 – 12 years of relevant experience or master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
- Self-Starter who is detail oriented, extremely organized, and with multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail, as focus on task completion is critical.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
- Experienced listener with the ability to understand technical interactions and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and stakeholders
- Proficient in project management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting
- Experience with advanced project management tools and software such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Experience briefing leadership and/or customers of key status of project progression
- Experience in identifying project risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and managing contingencies effectively
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards
- Experience in delivering presentations, preparing executive-level reports, and engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00
