As a LinkedIn Global Client Executive within the EMEA & LATAM region, you will be the regional lead for our accounts responsible for both renewals and upsell. You will partner closely with the Client Director on your accounts to expand our footprint by aligning LinkedIn’s portfolio of professional solutions (across Talent, Learning and Glint) with the complex requirements of our largest global customers.
You will establish yourself as a peer and trusted advisor to senior level economic buyers at each of your clients and develop a deep understanding of their business and the markets in which they operate. You will also invest in and demonstrate an understanding of their strategy and how they execute on same. You will act as the regional single point of contact to our key global customers and conduct executive level commercial discussions with the intention of growing and capturing green, blue and whitespace.
In order to ensure our clients generate the highest possible return on their investment, you will ensure that all LinkedIn Products and Solutions are being utilised effectively in region in collaboration with cross- functional partners and best practice. Ultimately, you will provide compelling recommendations for additional investments and renewals in LinkedIn.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring a passion for building strong and lasting relationships both within LinkedIn and externally with our clients, supporting our largest customers to be, and feel, successful with LinkedIn products and solutions. You will need to lead and support a complex, cross-functional team to ensure multi-level engagement with the clients.
Responsibilities:
Success in this role will be your ability to excel in the following:
Client Focus
- Be open, collaborative and customer-focused in all communications and transactions with colleagues and clients
- Leverage executive relationships and executive sponsors to deepen LinkedIn’s relationships with clients.
- Quickly gain knowledge and expertise of the entire talent suite of LinkedIn Solutions (Talent, Learning & Glint) in order to communicate the benefits of new products, features, and enhancements to our clients
- Provide high-quality customer engagement activities on the solutions they are already invested in
Sales Excellence
- Partner with the Global Client Director (GCD) of your named accounts to agree upon account goals, strategies and tactics for growth and then build the related account plans
- Own, build and drive the EMEA/LATAM level strategy for your accounts to both contribute to & align with the global strategy. Identify key decision makers, regional approach, buying processes, current investment, product utilisation and new revenue opportunities
- Negotiate and close all orders with the larger LinkedIn investment in mind and provide post-contract support to ensure product delivery and satisfaction
- Use Salesforce.com to track activities and, most importantly, accurately forecast your business
Leadership
- Coordinate and delegate a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to support your accounts, drawing on product specialist support when necessary
- Maintain ongoing communication with the GCD to keep them updated on new opportunities
- Represent both market trends and client needs to the Executive and Product teams to ensure we are both serving current needs well and evolving our portfolio to identify future client needs.
- Share your successful selling strategies and lessons learned with the team
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in quota-carrying roles or equivalent sales consulting experience
- 5+ years in enterprise client's sales
- 5+ year experience managing C suite level clients in net new and renewal environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working cross-functionally to build strategy in EMEA to enhance global deal success.
- Success selling to senior talent, learning executives and business partners on the solution of LinkedIn
- Proven success in selling a brand new, disruptive technology
- Client success approach to maintain legacy revenues and protect long term revenue opportunities.
- Experience closing new business accounts and managing existing accounts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate a plan to ensure deep penetration into global accounts and regional entities
