JOB SUMMARY
The selected candidate will become a member of a multidisciplinary training team and will be responsible for the client website used for the delivery of a comprehensive technical training program. The WEB Developer will:
- Collaborate with other ISDs/Training Developers in a SAFe Agile framework environment in designing and developing classroom learning solutions to prepare students to carry out their mission working with user interfaces.
- Work independently in maintaining a client website for DoD and Government users worldwide for operability and user experience (UX) using HTML.
- Collaborate with training team members to create and manage interactive software simulations used for training.
- Work with other developers to develop interactive HTML-based modules from CBT storyboards.
- Organize and manage large file repositories to prepare web components for deployment.
- Monitor changes to commercially sourced web platforms and applications to determine the impact they could have on delivered products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare graphics and multimedia materials, create and edit multilayer images, and composite images.
- Create and manage web pages using HTML.
- Write and edit JavaScript code.
- Write and edit CSS code.
- Document in detail proprietary code and routines.
- Employ search engine indexer tools.
- Capture screenshots from a client interface.
- Test website for SCORM conformance.
- Devise and implement solutions to resolve performance issues.
- Initiate system and process innovations.
- Apply best practices for documentation and file management.
- Conform to policy and internal style-guide standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in web management or a related discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
- At least 5 years of experience managing websites and creating graphics.
- At least 5 years of experience writing and editing HTML code.
- Experience writing and maintaining CSS code.
- Experience writing and maintaining JavaScript code.
- Experience working with Instructional Designers.
- Must be able to schedule and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalent.
- Experience with video editor tools like Camtasia.
- Advanced knowledge of web publishing applications like Adobe Dreamweaver with JavaScript, and CSS in use.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
