FEDEX TERMINAL LOCATION: 40 Kennedy Rd, South Windsor, CT. 06074
SCHEDULE: Start time is 8am, shift goes through delivery completion (typically somewhere between 4pm-6pm).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- CDL not required
- 1+ year(s) of verifiable driving history in the last 3 years with FedEx, UPS, or other delivery services preferred.
- Lyft, Uber, and food delivery or other experience driving a company vehicle of at least 1 year will be considered (Must be able to be verified).
- Handling and maneuvering up to 150lb boxes (with and without hand trucks or dollies)
- The vehicle we provide could be one of the following: a transit van up to one of our larger step van trucks (P700 & P1000).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record without excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving etc.
- Consent to a state/federal and MVR background check.
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Consent to a drug test and DOT Physical exam (paid for by employer) and random screening throughout employment.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good operating/cosmetic condition.
- Follow all FedEx and DOT regulations and safety standards.
