Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Türkiye. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Under immediate supervision, the Payroll Clerk will assist with Payroll, Travel Arrangements and Expense Reports, conduct Timecard and Expense Report Training, assist with timekeeping and payroll coordination. Some duties may be considered special assignments particular to either the department or manager. Prepares reports and correspondence to support TSBMCII Program. Interprets and applies standard policies and procedures to respond to complex inquiries, to resolve issues.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Payroll and all Payroll related activities, Local payroll for over 1000 personnel.
- Coordinates accounting matters with timekeeping and personnel.
- Maintaining and updating employee records on the payroll system.
- Complying with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Dealing with payroll queries from employees.
- Manage and supervise direct reports within the Payroll Team. Assist with administering payrolls, month end Consolidation and processing support as required.
- Checking and auditing payrolls, ensuring legislative and award compliance and internal reporting requirements such as annual leave.
- Projects as required such as process improvement and standardization of payroll systems.
- Assists Program personnel with Travel Arrangements.
- Processes, tracks, and follows up on all expense report submissions.
- Determines and audits account and charge code designations and facilitates in coordinating the reclassification of costs, if required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Manager. Performs other duties and assignments as required.
- Assisting with month-end processes.
- 4 years of experience in the accounting/Payroll field is required.
- Must be capable of operating calculators, personal computers, computer software and/or accounting systems, and standard office equipment.
- Must possess the following PC skills: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Basic Qualifications
- Turkish Citizen.
- In-depth familiarity with computerized accounting/Payroll systems and programs.
- Specific work experience in the accounting/Payroll field may be substituted for the degree.
- High level of speaking/writing English (LEVEL III)
Preferred Qualifications
- Training: Information Assurance.
- AS 400 experience is preferred.
- AS in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.
All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.
All male candidates must have completed their military service.
