Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary
As a Quality Assurance Specialist - Food Services, you will support the quality management program to enhance the customer experience through quality oversight techniques, training, statistical methods, assessments, and other quality tools. You will ensure compliance with work condition requirements, implement performance evaluation methods, validate contractually required standards, and align quality management with product/service performance needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the quality management program to enhance the customer journey.
- Create audit/inspection reports and make recommendations to management for corrective/preventive actions.
- Travel to various sites that have Food Services activities to perform Subject Matter specific Internal Audits. This will include all sites in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Romania, Kosovo, and Bulgaria.
- Serve as a mentor to local QA Management members involving them in your audits and educating them to improve their knowledge and understanding of Food Services.
- Implement performance evaluation and prediction methods to enhance safety, reliability, and maintainability.
- Validate project execution standards and ensure compliance with deliverable requirements.
- Align quality management with product/service performance needs to deliver value to customers.
- Analyze and solve complex problems related to quality assurance and process improvement.
- Improve processes using problem-solving skills and experience.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members across all project levels as needed.
- Support Quality Management team as needed to perform audits for different services that are not part of Food Service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food industry, 3+ years preferred.
- Requires experience in conducting audits, inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
- Must be able to identify deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio).
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Familiarity with relevant food safety regulations and standards (e.g., AR, DA PAM, TB MED , HACCP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality control processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as ServSafe, HACCP certification.
