Contributes as an SAP EWM and WMS technology and functional lead in SAP EWM with WMS Business process and platform experience. Establishes methods based on proven research for the Functional Engineering team. The IT Lead for SAP EWM will lead and participate in the Blueprint phase of the project for the WMS and Deliver business functions including business analysis, solutions, design, configuration; and will also have responsibilities for WMS applications production support
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Acts as a domain expert on Functional Engineering technology management capability and scope definition, solution design, configuration, extension, and enablement through to final deliverables.
- Liaisons cross-functionally to help identify and build Functional Engineering products that comprehensively address specific customer business needs and requirements.
- Lead projects of various sizes with limited supervision through the software development lifecycle utilizing Agile methodologies and tools
- In depth knowledge of Warehouse Management System (SAP EWM) processes to implement various WMS modules like Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Pick, Pack and Ship etc.
- Executes day-do-day activities under minimal supervision to advance progress towards operational goals with direct impact on achievement of results within area of work
- Create functional specifications in support of new functionality and enhancements
