Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Subcontract Administrator in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will perform:
• Delivery and procurement support for major Connectivity, Transport, and Access Systems
• Managing development and sustainment contracts
• Scheduling activities with the supplier
• Helping develop subcontract specifications and requirements, such as statements of works, negotiating and enforcing terms and conditions
• Preparing bid packages
• Evaluating subcontractor proposals
• Negotiating subcontracts
• Issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts and participating in contract negotiations
• Work closely with all functional areas in order to support multiple suppliers in the evaluation, source solicitation, negotiations, contract preparation and administration
• Conducting cost analysis support, understanding procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of contract negotiation and customer service experience. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Travel possible between 10 to 20% of the time, depending on lifecycle of current contracts.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:- Understanding of Government Contracting and working knowledge of the FAR.
- Exposure or knowledge of contract negotiation
- Customer service experience
- Utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task assignments

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $45,200 - $86,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
