Description:College Internship in Production Operations
organization of Lockheed Martin’s Missile and
Fire Control Business. Candidates will be placed
in a fast paced and exciting work environment in
our Machining Operation Center (MOC). The intern will work alongside our manufacturing engineers to support our production operations. Work will include collaboration in a dynamic team environment, manufacturing process reviews, data analysis and technical documentation. The intern will also gain experience and exposure to CNC machining, tooling/fixture design, and NC Programming.
Basic Qualifications:Currently enrolled in an accredited degree
program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's
Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience using CAD Software
Experienced with Microsoft Office (POWERPOINT, WORD, EXCEL).
Must have the ability to obtain facility access.
The candidate must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills:Experience with CNC Machines
Experience with G-code
Experience with CAM
Experience with 2D drawings along with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
