In this role, you will plan and coordinate marketing activities, resources and schedules for accomplishment of proposal production, public relations/advertising and marketing/sales objectives of the business unit. The primary skills and capabilities required to execute this position are innovative and creative thinking, complete project responsibility/ownership and professional integrity. Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate with division leaders, business development, marketing and other internal stakeholders to set priorities and plan strategies/campaigns that will help achieve sales objectives.
- Execute the production and design of qualifications, proposals, presentations, award submittals and other marketing assignments:
- Review RFP/RFQ and client’s needs
- Plan/outline the criteria/responsibilities
- Assign responsibilities/monitor deadlines
- Direct content which best meets client’s criteria
- Write/edit content
- Lead kickoff and quality review meetings
- Lead presentation development and assist with interview coaching
- Execute the planning and development of marketing campaigns/social media including:
- Collect and analyze relevant market data
- Assemble detailed data reports on specific market verticals and clients across multiple industries
- Utilize market data to create and disseminate targeted messaging across multiple platforms
- Research and analyze keywords, develop content, develop landing pages and track click-thru rates, conversion rates and overall ROI
- Execute business development documents (i.e. digital and print assets) and assist in developing a marketing strategy.
- Research, analyze and prepare market data.
- Lead public relations, advertising and other outside events (i.e. tradeshows), which will require sometravel.
- Supervise and author content for the internal group database of project descriptions, resumes, standard content, clients, subconsultants, contacts (i.e. CRM).
- Supervise and lead the development of content for the website.
- Lead specialty programs or assignments for the group.
- Supervise multiple tasks/activities and proposal teams against the schedule for delivery and consistency – in the team environment.
- Assist in training and supervision of marketing specialist(s) for growth and development.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, English, journalism, business administration or technical field)
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:
- 8+ years leading federal design-build proposals.
- Strong background in working with highly technical compliance-based proposals.
- Familiarity with SAM, PIEE, and DoD SAFE
- Thorough Understanding of DoD terminology and procurement procedures.
Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
