THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Server System Architect to join our growing system architecture team. In this role you will be engaged with SoC architects , performance benchmarking teams, and internal stakeholders to characterize server system solutions. This requires technically analyzing, defining outside-in usage cases, and use broad spectrum of technologies to drive a Server System solution spanning Si, platform HW/SW, and usages to deliver the best customer experiences. In this role you will provide a cohesive technical performance report out on specific server system solutions, publish technical papers on emerging Server System Solutions.
THE PERSON:
As a Server System Architect, you will work with cross-domain teams to develop end to end solution and technology enablement. You are technology enthusiast , fast learner and ready to take on challenging tasks to completion with great technical acumen, CPU architecture understanding and collaborative nature.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System level performance analysis, Data Center Compute and AI Workload Characterization, benchmarking, workload evaluation and optimization, analysis of bottlenecks and proposing future architecture enhancements
- Working with multiple teams and tracking technology enablement from system solution perspective
- Working closely with supporting technical teams
- Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
- Leading collaborative approaches with multiple teams
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Computer architecture and system architecture fundamentals
- Design Experience
- Programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).
- Debug techniques and methodologies, Hands-on System experience
- Understanding of server industry standard busses, such as DDR, PCIe, and other high-speed IO protocol is preferred
- Experience on Linux Kernel preferably with Linux Memory Manager
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Graduate candidate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or EECS is preferred.
