Description:WHAT WE'RE DOINGAt the Main Tool Crib, we are responsible for managing all the perishable supplies that are used to support production for all Sikorsky facilities. The Main Tool Crib also sets the standards that the factory uses for the perishable items. The operation is a 3-shift operation. Included with the Main Tool Crib is the responsibility for the FOD cribs in Transmission, Rotor Head and Avionics Product Center. This position is responsible for Hourly represented employees.
THE WORKAs a Supervisor within the Main Tool Crib, you will oversee a team of hourly represented employees in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the receipt, put-away and issuing of perishable items.
You will:
• Supervise and manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.
• Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
• Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:Needs a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Experience in SAP or similar ERP system
4+ years of relevant experience
Ability to multi task
Desired Skills:Learn new software, become a software superuser and the ability to teach others the software that is used to support the business.
An understanding of working in an environment with commodity management is also helpful.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
