Double Eagle (DE) is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support operations and maintenance for large scale communication systems operating in a real time 24x7 environment. Primary responsibility will be to provide operations and maintenance support for a large, integrated, complex hardware-software communication systems. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance support across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi-tiered network. This Hardware Engineering position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support necessary to manage DE Enterprise COMSEC accounts to include the development and maintenance of all inventory database systems and the ordering and installing of equipment.
- Discrepancy report work off and resolution, training/mentoring, trending, procedure development, data collection, fault isolation, and performing real-time manual actions to restore system capabilities.
- Assistance in development of troubleshooting/recovery plans and execution of associated management and customer briefs may also be required.
- Participation in corrective maintenance will require remove/replace, repair, and testing failed hardware.
- Candidate will work closely with delivering factories to provide support to development activities, installation efforts, and special test configurations.
- Direct interaction with ops customer, LM management, and mission partners is required to provide technical assessment and operational work around recommendations.
- Hardware Engineer position is nominally supported as a day staff role, with the expectation for call-in support provided to planned/unplanned critical activities outside of normal business hours.
- Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information prior to starting.
Basic Qualifications:- Active COMPTIA SECURITY PLUS Certification.
- Knowledge of networks systems and real-time software applications supporting communications systems.
-Familiarity in one of the following: LINUX, PYTHON, and/or MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE Applications.
Desired Skills:- Highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates ability to perform effectively in a rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task/prioritize, self-initiated learner, attentive to detail, strong time management skills, and works well in group/team settings.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
