What We’re DoingOur Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional Apps (RA) team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. protecting both the United States and its allies. The WorkThe C2BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a software data analyst that will thrive in a fast paced team environment contributing to the design, development, and testing of the C2BMC applications. Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include:
• Work on a team of developers and testers to validate performance, functionality and the verification of requirements for a large scale software application
• Analyze large data sets and proactively to identify and report anomalies
• Work with the application product teams to correct identified problems and perform verification of problem resolution
• Work with program level Integration, Modeling & Simulations and Test Engineering teams to identify scenarios to validate system performance requirements
• Support software teams in the design and testing of new capabilities

Basic Qualifications:• Must possess ACTIVE final secret clearance to be a candidate
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Must possess an understanding of systems and software engineering process, principles and lifecycles.
• Experience with data analysis of software tests for performance and functionality verification.
• Prior experience with analyzing very large data files and sets.
• Demonstrated proficiency using MATLAB, Python, and/or Java to perform data analysis.
• Ability to develop scripts and programs to assist with analysis in Java, MATLAB, Python, etc.
• Ability to analyze output from complex algorithms to determine if they are operating correctly
Desired Skills:• Experience working in the missile defense domain including engagement management, sensor management, algorithm development.
• Proven track record of successfully applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions.
• A working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Ability to read and understand Java software
• Ability to debug and identify solutions for software that is not working correctly.
• Ability to document findings, COAs and recommendations and present to stakeholders.
• Must possess CompTIA Sec+ certification, or agree to complete within 60 days of position start. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
