Description:Requisitions, receives, identifies, stocks, distributes and collects items such as perishable and fixed asset tools, shop supplies, electrical/electronic testing and similar equipment, and all types of personal protective equipment, exercising a knowledge of the use of these items, shop locations and of vendor, Company and governmental policies and procedures required to effectively control these items; verifies that items have been inspected and calibrated; establishes and maintains required inventories for assigned cribs and prepares estimates of future requirements; recommends substitutes for frequently-used items if required, and locates alternative sources of supply by referencing authorized information or by contacting responsible personnel; determines surplus items and returns.
Receives, segregates, routes and controls the flow of used, damaged or surplused tools and equipment, from the last point of usage through the rework or repair cycle and ultimate assignment to stock, exercising a knowledge of standard toolmaking methods and practices, tool reconditioning standards and specifications; reviews and audits tool repair requisitions to determine the accuracy of tooling rework request data, condition of tools, proposed points of repair, practical rework completion dates, and the possibility of completing work in plant.
PERFORMS SUCH RELATED DUTIES AS:
Operates state-of-the-art and conventional office equipment; prepares all required reports and forms, and performs other related clerical duties.
Operates electric walk-behind hand-controlled forklift or tug; performs heavy manual tasks in support of the duties described herein.
Checks, clears, and seals toolboxes for employees leaving the area. Signs and forwards appropriate paperwork.
Tracks misplaced, overdue, backordered, and special items carried in crib and the timely rescheduling of calibration or maintenance servicing dates.
Performs satisfactorily any functions of the Inventory Control Person and Blueprint Control Clerk.

Basic Qualifications:Must possess a minimum of two years of experience in inventory control.
Must have experience using Vehicles/Power moving equipment: Such as Forklift, electric walk-behind hand-controlled forklift and or tugs.
Experience with basic tools, such as precision measurement.
Desired Skills:Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with SAP.
Familiar with FOD control procedures and processes.
Familiar with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)
Experience with Precision measurement tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The base range for this position in California $22.46 - $34.65.
