Description:The Senior Manager for Sensors & Global Sustainment (S&GS) Communications oversees all communications for the S&GS line of business, comprised of 6,000 people across three business segments in more than 50 locations. In this role, the communicator will provide direct communications support to the general manager and vice president of S&GS and lead internal and external communications for Mission Systems which includes the world’s leading advanced sensors portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for the communications associated with program execution and continued business growth for S&GS.
- Lead communications teams supporting the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services and the Lockheed Martin Ampthill site in the United Kingdom.
- Responsible for delivering strong communications results, and ensuring message consistency in support of executives, key decision makers and global customers.
- Collaborate with Business Development to lead communications associated with S&GS campaigns including capture and keep-sold efforts.

Active Secret clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
