RSM's National Healthcare Consulting practice is searching for Healthcare Technology Consulting Supervisor. The Technology Consulting Project Manager will be involved with all aspects of the systems implementation life cycle related to the integration of leading healthcare IT applications. This work will include managing the customer requirements, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support activities. In addition, this role will support strategic IT projects such as IT systems assessments, software selections and roadmap development. The Consultant will be part of a multi-disciplined project team and will work collaboratively with both fellow consulting and client team members.
As a member of the RSM's National Healthcare consulting practice, you will join professionals with a broad knowledge of the Healthcare industry including: financial analysis and revenue cycle management, regulatory reporting and compliance, clinical processes, HIPAA privacy, security and Healthcare IT.
The Healthcare Technology Consulting Supervisor will also have a basic understanding of the consulting process within the healthcare industry and, as a key contributor, will support the building of a world class healthcare practice by listening to client needs, proposal development and presentation of solutions.
Responsibilities:
Managing mid to large sized healthcare technology projects with healthcare providers, payers, and related organizations
Coordination and management of internal resources, third parties, vendors, and client representatives for the execution of projects
Project management over implementation of EHR’s, Revenue Cycle solutions, AI and Automation projects
Responsibility for projects to be delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Managing expectations of senior client leadership, and management of risks and issues to obtain buy in and support where needed.
Support the definition of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and evaluating technical feasibility
Planning, and coordination of resources and forecasting activities for them
Develop detailed project plans, monitor, track and report progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Communicate internal and external messages, enacting one central point of contact.
Client consulting by coordinating Technical, Operational, and training assistance to optimize system utilization and efficiency.
Support the implementation of leading packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate healthcare business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs such as: Epic, Cerner, and 3M/Solventum.
Deploy innovative healthcare industry-specific solutions
Identify, assess and solve complex business integration problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contribute to IT systems assessments and software selection projects
Travel as needed (25-50%)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, or similar program.
Minimum of five years' experience with systems implementation projects and assessments.
Direct experience with implementation of software in a healthcare setting
Prior consulting experience
Experience with leading electronic health records systems (e.g. Epic, Cerner)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with 3M Health Information Systems solutions such as 3M 360 Encompass and Engage One
Experience with CRM solutions in healthcare and patient engagement solutions
Experience around AI, Automation, and Microsoft Azure
PMI Project Management Professional certification
Experience with Revenue Cycle, Clinical workflows

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $91,200 - $172,700
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
