About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Credit Risk Officer who will lead credit policy efforts and provide credit policy guidance. Leader will participate in front line projects by representing Unsecured Default Credit Risk through credit related activities and credit policy
In this role, you will:- Successful candidates will possess credit policy experience, strong analytic capacity, excellent project management skills, a collaborative approach to issue resolution and excellent writing skills.
- Candidate must demonstrate a track record of end-to-end ownership of projects driving timely, thorough results. Successful candidate will have excellent technical writing and oral communication skills to write and present policies, presentations, and executive level communications.
- Position requires innovative thinking to challenge existing process and policy. Experience creating synergies with collaborative business partnerships to drive efficient results which support broader goal of simplifying policy and operations.
- Experience working on efforts related to regulatory issues and corrective actions is preferred.
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence credit risk policies and strategies.
- Lead large projects related to credit policy or strategy.
- Experience in unsecured lending credit/collateral policy, credit risk, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 7+ years of experience in similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven leadership experience and skills.

Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:Desired Qualifications:- SAS programming experience
- End to end unsecured credit risk experience
- Experience owning and modifying credit risk strategies preferably default/collections
- Strong educational credentials with an MBA or Master's degree
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to complete data investigations with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven technical writing and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to successfully manage strategic initiatives with business partners.

* Willingness to comply with our hybrid work model; working from a Wells Fargo facility at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
