Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Manager to support the Advanced Battle Management System’s (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this mission we support the Department of Air Force’s (DAF) to field and operate the ABMS Digital Infrastructure. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for supporting logistics planning, warehouse management and customer engagement of kit distribution.
ABMS is a top modernization priority for the DAF and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across the Department of Defense. That broader effort is known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). As envisioned, JADC2 will allow U.S. forces from all services — as well as allies and partners — to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respond
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the shipment of kits, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain constant communication with leadership regarding kit’s request and control the process-flow of request
- Manage and supervise daily warehouse operations, including the receiving, storage, and organization of goods and kits
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations with handling of unclassified and classified components
- Develop and maintain efficient inventory management systems, ensuring accurate records and tracking of goods
- Collaborate with procurement and transportation teams to optimize the flow of materials and minimize delays
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Resolve any issues related to shipments, storage, or warehouse operations swiftly and effectively
- Generate reports on warehouse performance and logistics metrics for management review
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Basic Qualifications
- Must possess a TS/SCI clearance
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of ABMS DINM
- Experience hosting a weekly meeting and providing leadership status of operations and weekly reports
- Knowledge of ITAR, Customs regulations, or hazardous materials handling
- Proven experience in managing warehouse operations and coordinating complex shipments
- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with property owners and stakeholders
- Proficiency in warehouse management software
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Experience handling High-Value sensitive assets and COMSEC equipment
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain management
- Experience collaborating on projects with cross functional teams
- Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiatives

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
